"the GTX 1070 meets Microsoft's "ideal" (4K) specification, and the GTX 1070 won't be far behind"

I'm pretty sure GTX 1070 vs GTX 1070 results in a tie. I think there is a typo here.

I guess they realized that a Paragon in-game monies bundle for GTX 1070s and 1080s didn't sound appealing to the end user, as MOBAs aren't typically resource intensive. This kind of bundle makes a lot more sense, but I don't use Windows 10, so I wouldn't personally care for it.

It was more appealing than the shitty War of Boats coupon I got with my 1070 2 weeks ago.

I've been waiting for a good bundle before getting a new gpu and it sucks that this isn't a steam code.

I know it's drm, but I love muh steam.

There's something appealing to just having a large library of software all through one portal (steam), and knowing that the majority of new titles heading to PC will eventually be on it. I don't like using anything but steam, myself, either.

I get progressively more paranoid about Steam as I add titles to it. Doesn`t help that there are literally three or four actually good games a year now.

I found GTX 1070 to be great GPU but with RECOMMENDED RETAIL PRICE $379 to actual selling price in EU at around €500 NV and vendors can keep it. It is a joke.

GTX 1080 is even worse value.

Market reacts to demand, what did you expect exactly?

They should bundle something in the $40 range for the 1060, perhaps Shadow Warrior 2 (4 player co-op) which comes out soon.

Prices on the 1060 3GB and 6GB have been looking quite good already but that would really sweeten the deal versus the RX 480.
